Terms of Use – Afrosmeet Kenya

Welcome to Afrosmeet. By using our platform, you join a community dedicated to celebrating African culture and creating authentic connections. These terms ensure a safe, respectful and representative space for all members.

1. About the Application

The Afrosmeet application and website are published by LBT Synergy, registered in France, with its registered office at 34 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France.

2. Eligibility

Access to Afrosmeet is strictly reserved for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old.
The information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date.
Your account is for personal use only and cannot be transferred to another person.

3. Community Charter

To preserve the spirit of Afrosmeet — pride, authenticity, safe space, real connections — every member agrees to:

Treat all members with respect and kindness.
Use real, recent photos that genuinely represent you.
Refrain from posting hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit or commercially motivated content.
Not use the platform to solicit, advertise or redirect members to external services.

4. Prohibited Profiles & Banned Behaviour

Afrosmeet enforces a zero-tolerance policy for the following. Any account found in violation will be permanently suspended and blacklisted.

Profiles without a photo or with a non-compliant photo Photo verification is mandatory. Any account with no real, verifiable profile photo will be deactivated. Unverified accounts are deleted automatically within the deadline.

Identity theft & impersonation Using another person's photos, name or identity is strictly forbidden. Impersonating profiles are removed without notice and may be reported to the relevant authorities. Report to: contact@afrosmeet.com

Routers & external redirects (spam) Creating an account to redirect members to external platforms — WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, other apps or websites — is strictly prohibited. Router accounts are permanently banned and their phone number or email blacklisted to prevent re-registration.

Fake commercial profiles & escorts All forms of prostitution, escorting or paid sexual services — explicit or implied — are strictly forbidden. Commercial profiles are permanently banned. Afrosmeet reserves the right to report identifying information to the relevant authorities.

5. Moderation & Safety

Afrosmeet applies active human and automated moderation, 7 days a week. Accounts may be suspended without notice in cases of:

Harassment, insults or intimidating behaviour toward another member.
Repeated reports by other users.
Automated or manual detection of fraudulent behaviour.
Breach of the profile rules set out in Article 4.

Members can report any suspicious behaviour in-app or by email to contact@afrosmeet.com. Reports are handled within 48 hours.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Basic sign-up and use of Afrosmeet is free. Premium features are available via subscription, billed through the App Store or Google Play. No refund will be issued if an account is suspended for breach of these Terms. A 14-day right of withdrawal applies, unless the service has already commenced with your agreement.

7. Personal Data & Privacy

The processing of your data complies with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and applicable French law. For full information on data collection, use and your rights, see our Privacy Policy. Contact: contact@afrosmeet.com

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Afrosmeet — logo, design, text, features — is the exclusive property of LBT Synergy and protected under intellectual property law. Any reproduction without prior written consent is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Afrosmeet is a connection platform. LBT Synergy cannot be held liable for the conduct of members toward one another, or for outcomes arising from meetings initiated through the platform. Users are encouraged to exercise caution when meeting in person for the first time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
